Saving Country Music reported on Monday that the Hold Me crooner’s friends were worried about him because they hadn’t seen or heard from him since August 20.
Musician Matt Kinman, who traveled to Tucson with Bell, said, “We came here to Arizona, to work down here, play some music, and it just took off.”
“He was in the back of the truck. I went in to get something to eat. I got out and he was out of the truck and gone.”
Kinman, who cared for the artist for several years, also claimed that Bell suffered from bipolar disorder and recently changed his medication to control his condition.
