Kanye West has a bone to pick with Gap, claiming the retail giant is shutting him out of meetings and scrapping his Balenciaga plans.
West, 45, who released his first product with the company last year, aired his grievances with the retail giant in a series of Instagram posts that suggested his relationship with the company had become rocky.
On Tuesday, Kanye claimed the label had “held a meeting for me” without him present, as he shared a photo of himself with clothes spread out on the floor and a pair of iridescent sunglasses.

The allegations continued on Wednesday as Kanye accused the company of copying Balenciaga’s Yeezy Gap designs and using them on its regular T-shirts.
He shared an exchange of messages accusing the company of cutting his job. The mail included a photo of the allegedly stolen design.
“This is Gap copying YGEBB,” one of the messages read.
In the caption, West did not address the alleged copying, but claimed the company canceled a photo shoot of his children in Japan without his knowledge.

Excluded: West claimed he was left out of meetings involving him on Instagram
“But they canceled the photo shoot with my kids in Japan without my knowledge,” she wrote.
West — who has officially changed his name to Ye — signed a massive 10-year deal with Gap in 2020. The first product to be released in collaboration with the retailer, a puffy blue jacket that cost $200, sold out within hours of last year’s release.
West’s Yeezy Gap collection designed by Balenciaga was released earlier this year.
Earlier this month, West was grilled on social media after fans complained that his new Yeezy for GAP line had appeared in garbage bags, at the rapper’s own request.

Responding to photos of his clothes stuffed into large black bags, rather than hangers or neatly folded piles, Twitter users expressed confusion at his strange vision.
The backlash was sparked by a tweet, written by Owen Langan, who shared a snap of the sloppy merchandise as well as a claim that a “sales associate said Ye went crazy when he saw they had it on hangers and that’s how he wanted it. .’
He added: “They won’t help you find [your] the size too, you just have to dig everything.
When he saw photos of his latest clothing line, which he revealed was “inspired by the homeless” last week on Instagram, the public was quick to joke “Kanye made people thrift at the Gap.”

Others pointed out that “working at the Yeezy Gap is going to be hell” and as a former Gap employee he “knows what he’s doing.”
“Kanye has a whole song about how much he hated working at the Gap. Why make the lives of Gap employees more difficult? The whole store is going to look like laundry baskets. They’re going to have a cashier and everybody else to bounce back,” another fired.
However, one Twitter user suggested that he was trying to “eliminate the crazy perpetual cycle of constantly folding and hanging and presenting clothes according to a corporate vision template.”
“The things people let Kanye get away with is crazy lol. Those Gap jackets and Yeezy boots are ugly, but because it has his name on it, people will,” one social media user quipped.
