“There was just no soul in it,” he said. “The stage setting was not right. It was very detached from me and my band and lacked intimacy. And maybe I tried too hard to give him those things in such a controlled environment.’
After leaving Vegas, the singer admitted she struggled to deal with the fallout from her cancellation, but refused to go back on her decision.
Devastated: When Adele tearfully announced her show ‘just isn’t ready’, fans hoped it wouldn’t be long before she rearranged her shows
“The first two months were really, really hard,” he said. “But it actually made my confidence grow, because it was a very brave thing to do.
“And I don’t think many people would do what I did. I am very proud of myself for being next to my artistic needs.’

In January, Adele told fans, many of whom were already in Las Vegas at the time, several different reasons why she pushed the residency.

Employees at Caesars Palace camp told TMZ in May that the resort and Live Nation needed to reach a workable deal with the singer within a month in order for the show to go ahead.
Adele’s boyfriend Rich Paul, a top sports agent, had apparently entered into negotiations for the show, which is said to fetch $150 million.
The sources said that Adele had many conflicts regarding the show, including but not limited to the choir and the sound system.
